  • Garford Robocrop Precision Guided Hoe - Robocrop utilises a digital video camera to view the crop ahead of the hoe toolbar. Images from the camera are analysed at a rate of 25 frame per second by the cab mounted console. Using predetermined data relating to the crop row configuration to create a grid, the images are compared to this grid to give a best match scenario. Using this technique deviations due to weed infestations can largely be ignored. (more info)

  • Garford Robocrop Inrow Robotic Weeder -Using similar image analysis techniques to those used on the Robocrop 2 high speed hoes, Robocrop InRow analyses images of the crop immediately in front of the weeder. Applying a predetermined grid and best fit logical deduction technique, individual plants can be pinpointed and tracked through the image. The weeding rotors are then synchronised to work around the individual plants, the rotor speed is continually adjusted to take into account plant spacing variations. The InRow rotors are then followed up by a set of inter-row cultivation units to complete the all round cultivation process. (more info)

  • Garford Victor Sugar Beet Harvester - The Victor range of sugar beet harvesters incorporate unique and outstanding features which set them apart from the rest. Skew Bar toppers provide a consistent and reliable blockage free topping method which minimises the yield losses normally associated with poor topping. The Garford Spiroll Cleaning System  is unique in using the converging roller principle to extract foreign bodies from the sugar beet. This method while very effective also results in very low root losses and damage. 4 spoke Oppel wheels with dial a spoke inserts enable quick adaptation to suit soil conditions.   • Sfoggia 'Florida' Transplanter - Semi-automatic transplanting machine for plants with a cylindrical or cone shaped blocks, with a diameter up to 5 cm; pyramidal with sides up to 3,5 cm; cubicle with sides up to 3 cm and small bulbs. FLORIDA has a parallelogram for optimum depth control in combination with a large farmflex type roller or compression slides. The plant distribution carousel has 6 or 10 pelican type cups.   • Sfoggia Mulcher Plastic Film Layer -  The MULCHER is a plastic / paper mulch laying machine with simple operation. Available in two models: V140 with a working width of maximum 1,40 mt; and the V190 with a width maximum of 1,90 mt. Its a simple easy to use machine, and its frame is constructed of assembled parts. The MULCHER allows for the application of plastic for one or multiple beds at a time. The SFOGGIA MULCHER can operate in flat or raised beds with a maximum height of 10 cm.
