Valpadana was formed in 1935 in San Martino in Rio.  Since then the company has gone from strength to strength and is now under the umbrella of the Argo S.p.A group of companies.

Hydrostatic range



  • VP1400 HST - It’s the smallest “tool-carrier” tractor available on the market, but with the widest choice of set-ups. It can be fitted with front, rear that can also be used in simultaneous combination with the front power lift and PTO.  The major assets of these tractors and the characteristics that make them stand out from the machines offered by the competitors are: the fluid-cooled Perkins engines, the optional reversible cockpit, also available with the cab version, the hydrostatic transmission with speed control, the electrohydraulically engaged independent rear PTO, the new front axle with integrated steering cylinder and the axle shafts featuring universal couplings with double cross-journals.   • VP1400 HST REV - Like the VP1400 HST above but the reversible cockpiton a (HST-REV) revolving turret allows the operator to switch his position around in just a few seconds without detaching any of the connections. This means that the machine can have both a front and rear power lift and PTO, making the 1430 tractor a true multi-function “tool-carrier” that adapts to the modern operator’s every requirement and is ideal for all uses, be they purely professional or D.I.Y. jobs.  One way 4 equal size wheel range



  • VP4500 VRM - The 4500 series completes the range of Valpadana “low-power” equal-wheeled tractors. While compact in design, the 4500 tractors are high added-value vehicles that provide superior performance and unique technical features. These ultra-compact tractors belong to the 25-40 HP power bracket. They offer silent engines that respect the environment, a powerful oil-cooled multiple-plate braking system, synchronized transmission with 8 FWD + 4 REV speeds and completely independent PTO with dedicated oil-cooled multiple-plate clutch.   • VP4500 ISM - Like the VP4500 VRM above but the equal wheel version (ISM) allows the rear mudguard to be kept in the lowered position, just like the front one. This makes the tractor ideal for use in greenhouses, for crops with a large amount of foliage or between “Y” shaped rows. Rear visibility is perfect, so the implement can be easily kept under control for precise manoeuvres where space is at a premium, without the risk of hitting against obstacles. (more info)

  • VP6400 VRM - With their clean and rugged design, the 6400 tractors are ideally suited for customers that look for a functional product with an affordable purchase price and low operating costs. The standard gearbox with 12 forward and 12 reverse speeds is equipped with a mechanical reverse shuttle and a 540 rpm PTO which is mechanically operated via a wet multi-disc clutch. (more info)

  • VP6400 ISM - Like the VP6400 VRM above but the equal-wheeled version allows the front and rear fenders to be both mounted in low position making this tractor ideal for working in greenhouse tunnels, large-canopy crops and Y-trellis systems. The tractor design ensures excellent visibility of the rear implements allowing safe manoeuvring even in confined spaces. (more info)

  • VP6500 VRM - The 6500 series is now able to meetall requirements of modern agriculture for a variety of applications: orchards, vineyards, hey making, glasshouses, canopy crops, farm management jobs, nurseries and horticulture. Designed and manufactured with compactness in mind, the 6500 tractor has achieved a leading position in the “specialist tractor” market, going beyond the concept of conventional tractor to convert itself in a true multifunctional  implement-carrier.   • VP6500 ISM - Like the VP6500 VRM above but the ISM model has the front and rear fenders both fitted at the same height allowing the tractor to work close to low-foliage plants without obstructing the operator’s view  of the rear implements.

  • VP6500 ARM - Like the VP6500 VRM but the articulated version (ARM) of the 6500 tractor is fitted with a single cardan shaft  to transfer the engine movement to the transmission. This allows the inner turning radius to be reduced up to 1.5 m, while ensuring high traction  with the use of 320/70 R20 tyres. The absence of a conventional clutch  on the engine and the adoption of front drop-down final drives minimizes the front overhang for easier maneuvering in confined spaces. The low-slung driving position,the reduced overhang, the external width which does not exceed one meter with 7.50 R20 tyres, make the ARM tractor ideally suited for working in narrow row crops, in nurseries and glasshouses and in any environment where maximum maneuverability in confined spaces is required.   • VPR6500 ISR - Like the VPR6500 VRM but the ISR-REV model is the only reversible equal-wheeled tractor equipped with electrohydraulically controlled RPS (Reverse PowerShuttle). This configuration is ideal  for working with implements designed for two-way operation, such as fork lifts, grass choppers, stalk crushers etc. (more info)

  • VPR9600 ISM - The 9600 tractors complete the Valpadana range of super specialised, compact equal-wheeled tractors in the 70 to 100 hp power segment. Conventional



  • VP1500 - After long being an undisputed market leader, the 1500 tractor range has been completely revamped and now is ready to meet the challenges of the modern utility tractor market. The tilting hood and integrated headlights have been completely restyled with a clean and attractive look, and the driving position has been redesigned by rearranging all controls in a more ergonomic fashion. Technical innovations include the adoption of the new 3 and 4 cylinder Yanmar engines with power outputs of 35 to 54 hp. (more info)
